With the launch of Windows 11, Microsoft stated that a certain set of specifications needed to be in place for their new operating system to function correctly. One of the most important of these is that - if the associated PC or Laptop is running an Intel processor - it must be an 8th Generation or above processor to meet Microsoft's minimum system requirements. In addition, the PC or Laptop must be capable of running Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0), which is an important aspect of the operating system which deals with security related features. We have noticed that there are firms which are selling refurbished systems with Windows 11 which do not meet this minimum specification. This can pose significant security risks and is not recommended. We clearly indicate on our website which systems are Windows 11 compatible.
